3D Animation

3D animation implements computer generated objects, lights, and cameras, to create an illusion of a full three-dimensional environment. 3D art has the ability to imitate real-life and create breath-taking compositions. It is important to note that 3D animation is often much more time-intensive than 2D animation.

2D Animation

2D animation makes use of shapes, text, and backgrounds to create moving images in a two-dimensional environment. Title/text animations are often made in a 2D animated style. 2D is often quicker to create than 3D, and can create beautiful minimalist compositions.

Storyboards

A storyboard is a series of illustrations that helps to plan out and design your video. It’s important to nail down the story/visuals with storyboards, because they are the quickest elements to change/replace. They can range from very detailed illustrations to quick crude sketches.
